The breakfast was large with local products, including freshly cut fruit, fried eggs and the restaurant food was excellent. The hotel's location was stunning, near to Lapad in about 10 minutes, and beautiful Dubrovnik Old Town.

We enjoyed our stay here as it was at the end of a bus line and therefore away from the madding tourist crowd. The food and service in the good restaurant was excellent. Staff were very amenable and friendly.
We asked for a quiet room. A wedding was to happen on the weekend (Saturday night). Got back to room at 23:00 advising we could change rooms - at 23:00!! Room right below the band - boom boom, rang up and told it would finish at 01:00, rang at 02:25 told 04:00, but we could change rooms. Rang at 04:15 and told security would investigate, but we could go and sleep in another room without changing rooms! Wedding finished 05:00 - what a headache. Guest relations manager suggest cookies and coffee or drink, or transfer to airport. I suggested consideration of the the rate we had paid for the night. Manager advised that nothing could be done. Lesson, always check how close room is to function room and if there is any expected function during the stay. Do not select a room below a function room! The rest of the stay was good.

The hotel was first class and was representative of a five star hotel. The location (right on the sea front) was fantastic. The view of the sunset in the evenings from our balcony was superb. The facilities in the hotel were faultless.
The food in the restaruant was expensive, as a lot of restaruants in Croatia are, we only stayed for 3 nights so didn't need to worry to much about that.

Superb view over the sea from the balcony. Nice and clean room. Excelent amplasament and beautiful pool area. Very good SATU sushi bar.
Buffet dinner at Elafiti restaurant could be improved. Low quality food at Maslina Taverna and at the snack bar on the beach. Wireless didn't work properly all the time.

The location and the hotel is just fine!
I asked single rooms on upper floors, and the hotel confirmed this. But when we arrived they said, that single rooms in the hotel are located only on the fourth floor, wich is really the grand floor. I think that it is very bad idea to lokate single rooms on the grand floor.

Lovely place. I also arranged for a car to pick us up from the airport, so all very efficient. Very nice rooms, extremely comfortable and great view. It was my girlfriend's birthday while we were there, so we had breakfast in bed and the hotel gave us some free sparkling wine and not one but two small cakes during that day, which was a great touch. There's an excellent walk up across the cliffs immediately behind the hotel - don't do what I did and get lost going cross-country at night, but the views are amazing! Very easy bus into Dubrovnik every 20 minutes too.
Nothing, really. The main bar seemed to close quite early, but we didn't mind.

We stayed at the palace for our honeymoon and loved it! The views of million dollar yachts were fine. The breakfast had a great selection, and the heated outdoor pool was a fantastic touch. The spa was beautiful, perfect for a sunset view. We really appreciated the cute note and bubbly on arrival too!

The location was particularly good and gorgeous, in the Lapad district and in front of a bus station. Our double room was equipped with the air con, an incredible view, for example.
